M T Hayward Ltd was incorporated in November 2002, but the company’s roots trace back to 1987. Prior to the formation of M T Hayward Ltd, Martin Hayward began trading as Lifting Equipment Services in September of that year. With a vision to provide high-quality lifting equipment and services, the foundations were laid for what would become a trusted and recommended name in the industry. In 2002, after years of building successful working relationships and gaining more experience, the decision was made to formalise the business by incorporating it as M T Hayward Ltd. This move allowed the company to offer an increased number of services and would strengthen its position.
Today, M T Hayward Ltd continues to uphold the values it was created on, quality, reliability, honesty, and excellent service. The company remains dedicated to providing the best service for its customers, both longstanding and new.
Martin was joined by Rod Proud in the 90’s. Having both previously worked together in the industry, Rod was the perfect fit to assist with the additional workload as a trusted engineer with many years of experience. Later, in the early 2000’s, Martin and Rod were joined by Stuart Coker who bought with him, a wealth of experience in fabrication. Together, a team was formed which enabled a broader scope of services to be offered. In 2014, with the increased workload came a need for administrative help. Martin’s daughter, Sam Hayward joined the company and instantly took on the role of office management.
